What is a HydraFacial?

A HydraFacial is a medical-grade facial treatment that serves to resurface and clear out skin all while hydrating it. It uses the HydraPeel Tip pen to cleanse, exfoliate, extract and hydrate by infusing serums into the pores of the facial skin.
Great for all skin types, the HydraFacial SYNDEO™ Treatment is not only highly effective at improving overall skin health, but also excellent for remedying:

  • Fine Lines and Wrinkles
  • Elasticity & Firmness
  • Skin Tone Evenness & Vibrancy
  • Skin Texture
  • Hyperpigmentation/Photo Damage
  • Oily/Congested Skin
  • Enlarged Pores
  • Advanced Signs of Aging

In order to market and use the patented technology, spas must be registered and licensed by HydraFacial.

How Does It Work

Vortex-Fusion® serum delivery system is what sets the HydraFacial SYNDEO™ apart from other procedures. The multi-step treatment cleanses, evenly exfoliates and extracts to remove impurities and dead skin cells while at the same time replenishing vital nutrients including Antioxidants, Peptides and Hyaluronic Acid. Thanks to the devices’ superior delivery system, these performing ingredients can more effectively reduce the appearance of fine lines & wrinkles for results you can see and feel instantly.

HydraFacial Benefits

Another great thing about the HydraFacial is that it has many add-ons such as lymphatic drainage. The mechanical use of lymphatic drainage will reduce puffiness and speed up the removal of toxins in the body.
Depending on the result you are looking for from your treatment, different serums can be added to reduce signs of aging, for example.
Another addition that is great for overall skin health is the red and blue LED lights that are part of the HydraFacial treatment. These lights help replenish the skin and stimulate new skin growth while calming it after vigorous exfoliation or extractions.

What to Expect:

During a HydraFacial
The treatment itself is done in a four-step process:

  • It will begin with removing the top dead skin cells from the skin by cleansing it.
  • Next, salicylic and glycolic acids will be pumped into the skin with the HydraFacial pen to unclog pores.
  • For extractions, the tip of the pen will vacuum away dirt and oils that cause blackheads and impurities.
  • To finish, your esthetician will use the HydraFacial pen to infuse serums into the skin to hydrate and refresh.

Aftercare recover
We recommend not wearing makeup the same day to ensure the serums do their job and can adequately soak into the skin. Makeup can be applied the following day.

Side Effects

There are minimal side effects. Celebrities get a HydraFacial before a big red-carpet event to have that Hollywood glowing skin.
It is possible to experience some redness after your treatment as well as irritations.

How Often

The effects of a HydraFacial last longer than an average facial treatment. You will notice immediate results from the facial the day of your treatment. To get the most benefit from the HydraFacial is to have multiple treatments. The idea of the HydraFacial is to improve the skin’s appearance and texture over time. Typical every 4-6 weeks is a reasonable time frame to consider another treatment.

Cost

The cost varies depending on the type of HydraFacial selected. This can be determined by your skin specialist during your consultation. Prices at Revitalize Aesthetics range from $150-$300
